Once again, SOCSE participated together with TOMRA at EuroShop, the main global meeting point for the retail industry, presenting the latest innovations in automation for container management and reverse vending solutions.
During the exhibition, visitors to the stand were able to explore TOMRA’s broad portfolio of solutions, including different reverse vending machine (RVM) configurations designed to adapt to various store formats and operational needs — from compact standalone units for limited spaces to high-capacity systems with backroom solutions for higher-volume operations.
EuroShop 2026 was also a great opportunity to exchange experiences with customers and partners from around the world and to discuss the evolution of regulations related to the circular economy, reverse logistics, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes, and Deposit Return Systems (DRS).
All these trends are redefining the relationship between retail, consumers, and recycling, reinforcing the need to incorporate technology that enables efficient management of both refillable and single-use containers.
